WHY Wild Flower Festival?

Bohinj and surrounding hills and mountains are well known for its picturesque and unique alpine flora and the magnificence of untouched nature. Already in the old days explorers and folks were coming to Bohinj from early spring, when first flowers sneak out from under the snow, until autumn, to enjoy the beauties of alpine flowers.
