Alpine Network of Protected Areas

Aims and activities 

ALPARC works in the field of international cooperation between the Alpine protected areas. The network’s goals are the protection of Alpine nature and biodiversity, the preservation of the relationship between humans and the mountains and sustainable economic and social development that ensures a good quality of life for present and future generations.

ALPARC coordinates international projects, organises events and workshops and encourages the dissemination of information on three topics common to all the protected areas.
